@f1ee7a25 Excellent! If you want to try to migrate content from WordPress, note that there is a handy "Wordpress-to-Hugo Export" plugin that should carry over all of your content and post permalinks. The book I recommended by @c04441ad also has a great chapter on migrating content to Hugo. It looks like a relatively painless process, though I haven't tried myself! Have fun!
@fcdb09df Oh that's interesting - my Wordpress install is VERY old though, so I am kind of prepared to migrate content manually, piecemeal over time if it can't be automated. Will let me think about whether I just do a static crawl and archive of the old site and only republish material that's still relevant.
@fcdb09df I've not got on very well with Hugo! I appreciate I should read a book or fuller guides, but I can't seem to make any basic theme configuration changes when following the quick start guide https://gohugo.io/getting-started/quick-start/ - don't think I can spend any more time on this. I can create content, view draft pages but can't configure the theme. Probably I'm doing something wrong but I don't think Hugo is for me.
