There will be a lot of Italian plums to pick any day now. They just turned colour but are still hard. Plum cake!
I hope the raccoons behave, and the bears are still busy eating the plentiful blackberries in the bush.

 These are the tiniest mushrooms I ever photographed, the caps only about 1 mm across. I think they are Bark Mycena (M. corticola) (?) as there were some slightly larger ones nearby. 
Surprised that I got a single shot out of many that was in focus.

 Slimemold season is here 😍. This orange patch on a rotting log was about 3 cm long. I think is Salmon Eggs Slime Mold (Hemitrichia decipiens). They move along the wood to eat bacteria and algae, and help decomposing it.

 I'm finding a lot of different mushrooms in the garden now, like this pretty thing: Fairy Fingers (Clavaria fragilis), aka Worm-like Coral (C. vermicularis).
They grow in "old, unimproved grasslands" which is a fitting description of our lawn.
