Oddbean new post about login | logout We seem to have had a visit from a bear while we were gone yesterday! It ripped the screen off of a window, cracked a pane of glass, bit a plastic sheet that was covering the screen, and pulled off the metal frame surrounding the outlet from our kitchen stove's exhaust hood. Black bears aren't uncommon around here, but this is the first time we've had an encounter with one.
