@2c6a8385 I never thought gnome was made for touchscreens. Tried it before and was very unsatisfied.
I will get a linux tablet soon (TM) which will have the first plasma setup I've ever had. I'm excited!
@a4dd4cb2
my phone from 4 years ago can do anything but gaming for 150 bucks.
The only issue it has is 1.) It ran out of software support and 2.) It's not repairable, so my usb c charging port is a bit broken and does not work properly sometimes.
If it wasn't for these 2 things I would probably keep this phone for another 5 years.
I am not sure I understand your point.
Is it only me or do we have BARELY any progress on phones and tablets? They're selling similiar hardware for like 6+ years now while increasing prices steadily.
The only thing that actually changes is the phone size and display (DPI, size, nits) and cameras. The thing that matter the most are still exploited to cost much more (RAM, ROM).
I find it disturbing that I see similiar specs for year after year by ever increasing prices.
For those highend-devices:
How many people really need them?
@59665e9e only 91/100?
I love the idea of the Framework laptop, but if you can't reach 95 or even 99/100 I am afraid it's not for me!
Obvious /s
In all seriousness, good job guys!
@a4dd4cb2
Yeah I don't buy into this reasoning at all.
Pointing fingers has never helped. The general public points to the rich people for they cause 50% of the waste and they point to the general public for they cause the other 50%.
If we, the general public, start to be better and actually cause a change (Like Framework Laptops, Fairphone, etc) we do actually have something to argue with.
This is, of course, if you are actually interested in solving things and not just pointing fingers.
