Is it only me or do we have BARELY any progress on phones and tablets? They're selling similiar hardware for like 6+ years now while increasing prices steadily. 

The only thing that actually changes is the phone size and display (DPI, size, nits) and cameras. The thing that matter the most are still exploited to cost much more (RAM, ROM).

I find it disturbing that I see similiar specs for year after year by ever increasing prices.

For those highend-devices:
How many people really need them? 

 @7e344881 Honestly I feel like smartphones are becoming human extensions and spending extra 200$ for slightly better extension is a good deal overall.
