I use Keepa for almost everything I buy on Amazon that is not essential.
I set up a price watch and whenever there’s a significant price drop or deal I get a notification.
I can also see the price history on any item which helps me make a better decision.
Keepa has saved me a few $$ for sure and I am glad I’ve never had to pay for it!
I get the notification on Telegram but I think they notify by email as well. I don’t use any app, they have a browser extension but you don’t need it either.
Just go to Keepa website, create an account and paste the Amazon or ebay link on the search bar.
@Fabian I am unable to add a local relay to Nostur. I add the relay as ws://localhost:8008/ and save, but when I open the relay edit page and hit connect the URL changes to ws://localhost08

TCP connections fail after some time due to corrupted data in the TCP stream.
That means your `ssh` connections will randomly die without explanation, and other apps that work with long-lived TCP connections will experience similar issues.

You could use the same npub to repost the random npubs? That way the npub people follow does not change and does not need to be shared. It’s just a suggestion.

I did it last year and it was great for me because it kind of forced me to explore the world of Nostr even more: I curated my feed (my follows are my algo), discovered new apps, and met new people that I now consider my Nostr tribe (they don’t know that).
