Trying to delete the contents of my long-unused Flickr account and it’s comically awful how incapable the interface is at deleting anything. Even deleting  single photo takes 30 seconds and may fail. Real Pedro the Unsubscribe Donkey stuff. Oh long-faded jewel of the original Web 2.0, etc etc

 I mean, I know how research outfits  work and PIs don’t do everything and delegation and division of labor and blah blah blah. The point is that your name is on the goddamn paper and you’re taking all the credit, so guess what, you don’t get to socialize the risk by saying “Look I am blameless because obviously I don’t even know how this stuff got produced”.
