@420f26f4 I agree 100% with what you've said. No one is perfect, and we're all going to fall short of someone's ideal of allyship or progressivism. But as long as we're working toward upholding each others' dignity, holding ourselves and others accountable to doing better, shouldn't that be enough?
@50b353e9 YES! And like, fine - if you want to keep people safe, that's admirable. But a) most of these stories about stupid shit people are doing are completely overblown and b) you make the majority suffer for the sake of a really small minority. There has to be a better way.
@50b353e9 Oh god, ugh! On the bright side, you’re out of Florida, so 🤷♀️
Seriosuly, though, I absolutely feel for you. Humid or not, 100+ temperatures are miserable. 😖
Here’s an all-too-infrequent reminder: Jump by Van Halen is one of the greatest rock songs of the last 50 years, and you need to listen to it more.

@50b353e9 Ok, you’re in Arizona. Can you settle something for me? I hate summer because hot, muggy sticky weather just isn’t my jam. , People tell me I’d be fine in a place like Arizona, because, “It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity.”
They’re full of shit, aren’t they?
@50b353e9 I can barely even remember! We didn't have very many games, but I do remember loving Pole Position. I also remember having that terrible ET game, and Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Modern games are amazing - beautiful, detailed, immersive...but something about that era, old-school gaming, was simply magic :-)
@50b353e9 Cheaper is definitely an attractive reason! I have no idea how I’ve afforded living here for this long. And honestly, the country is usually gorgeous. Maybe I am secretly a country mouse! 🐭 I’m just ready to get out of NYC!
