 In theory, when stakes are non-existant, everyone can do it. This is in the thought realm.

In practice, when the stakes are high and actions have consequences, all people fold to varying degrees. 

 I'm generally not the overly optimistic one of the bunch, but I disagree and would like to propose a counter argument that's also positive. Given that there's not much context, I will stick to logic:

1. The decision to give up or not is most subjective, and it always depends on what it is that you want, how badly you want it, and how unacceptable the laternative (losing) is to you.

2. Conflict of interest: Sometimes, it is in my best interest if you just give up. Meaning, I win only if you give up. 

3. Persistance (not giving up) is THE prerequisite to winning. Otherwise, mideocrity prevails. 

All of the success stories we celebrate today were the outcome of not giving up.

I would be cautious in even labeling it communism, because it can falsley suggest we have an alternative. We really don't. It may suggest that the opposing party will behave differently. It doesn't and it never has.

We have a 2 party system that is corrupt to the bone. All it does is loot and opress its citizens regardless of the party in power.

The 2 parties appear at odds at first glance, but in reality, both parties have have ruined lives as reliably and comprably in the past 50 years.

Cheesy as it may sound, the apparent difference between the 2 parties is a scam. The illusion of choice is real. 

 I have friends in Israel who want to kill the Arabs and steal their land. 

 100%. And yet, Israel is still playing the victim... Absolutely repulsive.

 Hey Michelle! Thanks for the suggestions. I think your breakdown is spot on. I have to admit I was being sarcastic in my original note for the very reason you pointed out (bad news sell best), but I'd be more than happy to work with other plebs to make it happen. 

Definitely nostr-based. Otherwise, we may get canceled, especially if we're caught in action spreading positive vibes. 😄
