What are we going to do to get nostr off of the centralized DNS/TLS system? I tried i2p yesterday...
IPFS is a way. My next nostr plan is to host a client there.
Also a great opportunity for decentralised content sharing.
Faced with the strange possibility of needing to exit my current job in the middle of one of the ...
I'm in the same boots. This is how the employers slowly breaking the loyalty. Our Technical PM team was just disassembled in the middle of a global telecom project from the VP level. They do not care about what we are doing, just lowering the headcount.
Look this opportunity as a huge chance to switch. Stay positive!
What a cool idea. Must get sats for this! https://shopstr.store/
100 pushups a day lasted a good day before my arms stopped working
Start slow and make regular relax days. That's the secret!
The idea of not being able to edit your posts on Noster is fucking terrible.
Elitist assholes tho...
It is a feature of a cryptographic functions that you can not alter the original input. If you change even a character, it would result a totally different digital fingerprint.

A nice looking replacement for Slack and centralized friends: https://github.com/TryQuiet/quiet

Build on OrbitDB and Tor.
Finally fixed my Bitcoin #node. New OS -> new life!
The local block verification will take a while... ooooof!

I have both now. The NOSTR (rs) relay took 5X more time to set up due to my special conditions on my own hosting and port forwarding.
Setting up a BTC node was really quick. Reading the documentation took more time.
Protip: Blocks-only mode -> really saves you a lot of bandwidth but keeps you up to date with blockchain and can be disabled anytime to have the "full node".
