All good points.
99% of onboarding experiences I have seen. is someone convincing another to install nostr, and the first thing the new user does after setup is look for the person who purple pilled them. which in most cases fails.
so I think the two ideas of caching profiles + QR sharing more data about a profile are both great enhancements.
Thank you!
All these devices are great in their own respective ways.
I think a #bitkey is better suited for your needs. It’s a hot wallet and a cold wallet at the same time.
But while it’s easy to use, buck up is made in an untraditional way, which I would argue makes it less user friendly from that perspective. PDFs + cloud + trusted friend + Block.
Nothing beats the old school 12 words seed backup.
So they designed bitkey it in a way that allows you to spend Bitcoin without the bitkey itself in a secure way, straight from your phone (that’s what’s considered a “hot” wallet) under a set amount you specify.
For any amounts larger than what you set, you need the bitkey to sign the transaction (that’s the “cold” wallet).
But to enable all of this, bitkey is not your typical 12 seed phrase wallet. It’s a bit more complex under the hood.
We had a huge sale a while back. Holiday season around the corner.
Also don’t skip on the Blockstream Jade. $50 arguably better positioned than both in my humble opinion.
Watching Rogan and Musk try to make The AI say un-woke things and failing is hilarious.
They both see how dumb the jokes are and trying to laugh at them is a good dose of internet cringe. 😬
Then Rogan snaps out of it and Elon admits it still needs work. 😅🤣
Thanks to @WARTIME PSYCHOPATH™ ☣️⚔️ I finally got a relay running. I really appreciate your patience. 🙏
We ended up with a #Haven relay on a cloud vm following the steps here in this GitHub. While the steps are great, they are missing a few steps here and there. @utxo the webmaster 🧑💻 would you like me to ping you a couple of notes maybe we can get the guide updated for an even more normie friendly experience?

Yeah, That's why I wanted to send you the notes... Just to point out where I struggled. And then lean on your expertise to make it easier for people like me.
Thought what I wrote worked. Because that's how I have it running now. but I believe that won't be universal enough.
I am unable to access pi.local seems like ubuntu isn't picking up my wifi dongle.
I'll just see if I can do it on cloud vm first. ill figure out Pi later.
