Love seeing all the new meshtastic nodes popping up everywhere after defcon this year. Been lonely for 2 years and finally am able to reach all the way from Knoxville, TN to Nags Head, NC with so many mesh hops. Now to add some solar station nodes to make it stronger in my area.
Had such a fun time with friends at the Georgia Mountain Fair and Crowder concert this past weekend. We went to church that night!
During my yearly review, despite me learning and teaching 2nd shift 2 new machines, gaining knowledge in programming them, optimizing cycle times in almost every part I run, and having the 3rd lowest scrap rate in the shop(only scrapped $200 for setup scrap on 2 parts), and gaining my Journeyman's in Metalworking/CNC programming, I got less than the average raise. I got 3.27% and the average was 4.5%. I can run EVERY machine and run all the prototypes due to me being anal and writing down notes and recommending changes to optimize the proto cycle.

Things I do that are not my job:(Actual position)
Be a mentor to new hires(Team Lead)
Program parts for 5th axis mills/any machine(Programmer)
Get asked if parts are good or bad if features dont match at the part level(Engineer/Supervisor)
Optimize CNC programs for faster cycle times(Programmer/Team Lead)
Run Prototypes(Tool Room)
Fix scrap parts from other people (The person who scrapped the part, they need to learn from their mistakes)

Guess my employeer will get a less than average employee for the next year. I will be doing things ONLY in my job description from now on.
 2 Timothy 3:1-7
(1) "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
(2)"For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (3)unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, (4) traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, (5) having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! (6) For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, (7) always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
2000 Blocks left. Another cycle is almost behind us.
Exactly this. When Netflix first came out, I loved it as it was a cheaper alternative to media, old and new. Prices keep going up, and there is no incentive as to watch all of the "good" shows requires multiple services. We literally went full circle with the money.

I really wish more companies would transition to Lightning payments.

Had to bump fees for a time sensitive BTC tx twice.
Paying a 25,000 sats fee that should've taken less than 7,000 sats with appropriate miner fee swing. 14 hour wait time until I went to 178 sat/vB via RBF.

Happy New Year! May we enjoy the extra innings this year (366 days). and hope for an easy transition due to this being a stressful year ahead.

Run past evil swiftly, Embrace happiness every step of the way. Be an example of how to live a Godly life and help others walk in their faith, Even if it is their first steps. Salut!
I do not think my family is ready for the economic collapse that will inevitably happen this year. We were naive to the facts before us until it was too late. However, God will provide where necessary. I have faith in God and hope He in I.

I pray the power vacuum that is created will be filled with a Holy presence and we have a 4th great awakening of Christ, Not some woke or alternative ideology; that as a people, we will stand up to the lunacy of the ill and ill-willed that would rather see it all end than to see their ideas falter. God is greater than all of this.

Pay as much debt down that will lessen my families burden, which in turn means less Sat Stacking, unfortunately. But hey, less debt.

Looking to plant quite a variety of foods this year. Learn to Hunt proper with a bow and rifle. Research ways to preserve food of all types.
Having some time to reflect on the past year.

I am starting to understand the true meaning of freedom, in three respects.
The American meaning, the Biblical meaning, and the upcoming, more rapidly accepted definition.

American: The freedom to have a prosperous life for yourself and your family, to burden and sweat, to cry and laugh, and be happy at the end of the day that you can provide and prosper in your work and familial lives.

Biblical: To be free of the stain of sin that weighs us all down, to live in Jesus Christ and be born again, fresh, renewed, to live burden free, to have a calling that you alone have the freedom to accept. To work for a singular purpose, that is to Glorify the God that is our Creator.

And there is a third definition that many are adopting rather quickly is various forms to suit ideologies and political agendas, which is a smooth brained definition of freedom.
To be able to do anything and everything one wishes without the burden of negative ramifications, "For the greater good". To harm, steal, burden others without reprise. A self-centered freedom that makes it so the ones that righteously burden for their families in a Godly manner are the criminals for trying to stop evil actions.

Lot's of stuff happening too quickly. Hope the Lord gives me comfort and patience as I travel through the next few weeks. Going to be....a different type of business as usual. Give me strength to overcome, Oh Lord.
Smoking a Camacho Corojo Rum Aged stick. Smooth, slightly sweet scent, yet strong, Not a bad choice for an early fall night.

 1 Corinthians 1:27-28
27 "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;"
28 "And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:"
My pastor did his sermons recently on the letters from Paul to the Thessalonians (i.e. 1 Thes and 2Thes, respectively).

It made me want to start reading the Books/Letters from Paul to the Corinthians. The state of the world may make sense as it has fallen short of the glory of God.

1 Corinthians 1:19-20

19 "For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
20 "Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?"

If we do not have the wisdom from God's Word, but rather the wisdom of the world, would it not stand to reason that God would confuse those of us whom would try to reason with worldly wisdom rather than reason with the faith of God? Turn our "wisdom" against us and make things worse.

Those of us who once lived in the darkest parts of society, and have turned our lives toward our Lord Christ Jesus have a responsibility to help those who are lost in that pit of despair. God opened our eyes once we turned toward Christ, We should try our best with our second chance to help those who are lost, and to show them the wisdom in God's Word, lest they be confused anymore.

Riches are not made of gold, power, or earthly wisdom; but rather in the unyielding Grace and Mercy of God, and of the Power of Jesus Christ.
