Saying "wikipedia has a nazi problem in some articles" in 2005 made you sound crazy. I think more...
@134318c2 I tried to make some edits on Intelligence wikis and a few other domains, back in the day. Reverted, or edited out of existence. I tried supporting editors talking about listing billionaires, only to have a cartel of editors agree that just being a billionaire isn't noteworthy. Editing wikipedia is highly political, and I hope to have the time to engage again when my kids are a little older.

Your advice here is a godsend. 🙏✌️
Our Xfinity bill shot up because of an expiring 12-month discount, just as it did a year ago. So ...
@03a95182 I had a door to door guy come to talk to me about switching to a new fiber internet service here. I pointed that there is no way I can in good conscience switch to a firm to colludes as a cartel with other firms to raise prices for customers all over the country.

He says, "where do you work?" Then he asks if I speak French. Turns out he has a degree in economics and spent ten minutes ripping his employer a new one for making the brand representatives poach each other's zones, inter alia
A friend on Twitter asked where the science is on home COVID tests now. I responded that I expect that they're good. Most tests have antibodies against the spike and nucleocapsid proteins. Spike is under heavy selective pressure, but nucleocapsid, that the immune system doesn't use, not so much. Tests should continue to work well against them.

They rightly pointed out that the bit after "I expect that they're good" is kind of word soup to the non-biologist, so I unpacked it for them...

@b5cdaf1a Thank you for this, Sheril.
Important to get the details right, or we're making things worse while thinking we're making things better.
Appreciate it.🙏
