Ok, I missed the news of the Beetlejuice Boebert video showing her being a danger to children by performing a lewd sex act in a public theatre when she groped/fondled/played with her male friend in the theater.
Former Virginia representative Denver Riggleman wrote that “Lauren Boebert seems a bit confused about Freedom Caucus members telling her to ‘reach across the aisle.’”

I just looked at the harvest forecast because I read the outlook for prunes haven't been good.
The recent weather events have turned that around and the outlook is good.
So much for.my 'lack of prunes' 🤣

I hate my pharmacy. Well, I love THEM but hate their website for refills. Their app, too.
Whatever computer system and software they use, it must be old.
It's a small-town #AppalachianOhio pharmacy, over 100 years old &same family. It even has an old fashion soda bar in operation.
When they shut their computers down at night, so does the ability access your prescriptions.
You can fill out a secure form and do refills but you can't access your scripts until they turn them back on at 7:30am.

Trump-aligned group publishes plan for 'biblically based' government, even recruiting administration positions for the next GOP POTUS with what is dubbed the far-right LinkedIn.
The coalition of far-right groups, led by the Heritage Foundation, is planning for the next Republican administration, including busting.Civil Service and to put the Bible ahead of the Constitution.
These groups predate Trump &and the GOP's loyalty to them predate Trump.

NYPD spent millions to contract with firm banned by Meta for fake profiles
New York law enforcement agencies have spent millions of dollars to expand their capabilities to track and analyze social media posts, new documents show, including by contracting with a surveillance firm accused of improperly scraping social media platforms for data.
Documents show authorities bought Voyager Lab products which the company claims can use AI to map online human behavior

Looks like #Threads is still working on adding #ActivityPub support and joining the #FediVerse
From the Threads engineering team, "Joining the Fediverse and building interoperability with other networks to create a more diverse and thriving public conversation ecosystem is something we remain committed to working towards. "

Took an extended nap &woke up in a panic because my timeline &all the accounts on my selfhosted instance posted like a 1000 spam posts an hour while I was asleep. I was hacked.
I rushed to the computer. It was just a dream and didn't happen.
Anyway, I changed all my passwords, including VPS, root, etc. for my selfhosted instance, disconnected any old API access applications I know I don't use anymore, like old Mastodon apps I used to use, Twitter to Mastodon followers finders, etc. #infosec

He's a confusing sort. Something isn't right with him.
He did, in January 2020, at the start of the pandemic before the world knew about it, try to get Trump and his team onboard
Can't figure him out
On January 29, 2020, Navarro issued a memo warning that novel coronavirus could "evolv[e] into a full-blown pandemic, imperiling the lives of millions of Americans" and that the "risk of a worst-case pandemic scenario should not be overlooked"

This is neat. I was going to reply with something silly but when I Googled what they are used for, neat.
"The Fire X Fire Extinguisher Ball is a round-shaped fire extinguisher that self-activates after about three to five seconds of fire exposure. It disperses non-toxic extinguishing chemicals, and it can extinguish fires within a three-cubic meter radius."
@9a7cd11a Back when it came out in 2008, I caused a little chaos at the RWNJ in-law Christmas Eve get-together when I asked them which is it? "Gay Obama getting BJs in the back of limos" or "Devout Muslim Obama living under Sharia law" because it can't be both.
They got dumbfounded and short circuited.

2/3rds of all Kroger's owned stores, across the various brands, are United Food & Commercial Workers Union union shops. Hopefully more will follow.
I was in the Kroger union in the early 90's when I worked there.

For me, he is unwatchable. Never felt comfortable watching him. Maybe I detected some of the article revelations.
That first headshot image in that article poster gives me goosebumps.
You know what? You can serve me ads or put me behind a paywall, but not feck'n both.
LOL to the news & popular websites that won't let you view their content with an ad blocker turned on and then when you temporarily disable it once to view the article, they feed you a zillion ads, a partial article then block you from the rest of the article unless you get behind the paywall.
A lot of major, popular sites are doing this.
Your content is being summarized elsewhere. I don't need you.

Part of that is, journalists during the migrations last year puffed up Mastodon being hard to use, not because it was hard to use, but because it didn't replicate their experience on Twitter on day one
It made me question the reliability of some of the journalists with their other subject
It's like complaining Burger King sucks because the Whopper doesn't fit in a Big Mac box
Journalists, esp tech journalists, have been really hard on Mastodon. Still are

@40cd5708 They call that 'skin glue.' Supposed to seal it up completely and they say there is no risk.
I have abdominal surgery every couple years due to my implants. Never had an issue with skin glue.
I always get the same feeling. Like I should treat it as I would conventional closure of days gone by.
