@Den Datafag Trollmann :flag: I guess it makes sense to try to have detachable controllers when you unit gets heavy - otherwise it's going to put strain on people's hands very fast
@2a6ff440 expect that you can't really upgrade anything about the Steam Deck, apart from the internal m2 drive. The battery replacement is pure hell and once you need a more powerful device you'll have no easy replacement of the main PCB. What a garbage article.

@PalePimp Yeah, it's the typical trap. Grow too big and you become slow and rely on your past successes. One of the key to change that is to have management actively push for smaller teams to compete internally to produce new games, as a strategic element of future growth. The key metric would be "how many TRUE new games did I push this year?", not just sales. Sales focus will lead you down the path of optimization and cutting down every element that matters for future growth.
@ecd9e475 Sure, but when presented between a proprietary yet convenient option, they will forgo any other consideration. And then they get bitten in the ass a few years later - it's predictable like clockwork.
@b247111e It's not insider trading. Execs have to sell their share at a fixed date that they have to declare 6 months in advance, and in this case they didn't sell that much compared to their actual compensation so it's probably people looking for fraud where there is none
Since Unity is starting to change its usage fees, it's a good time to remind everyone that Godot can also be a good alternative - here's our 10 minutes guide to get started very quickly to get your hands dirty: https://boilingsteam.com/make-game-in-10-minutes-godot/ #godot #guide #gamedev #foss
