I also asked myself whether I wanted to route payments. The answer was ‘no’ 😂
Phoenix is a great wallet. Very easy to use.
WOS is easy, and has btcmap integrated.
I use WOS to demonstrate simple lightning payments and consequently carry a small balance on it.
That’s a good point. I didn’t consider volume in terms of the number of users who “only hold a small amount” on a custodial wallet.
It seems like the ideal lighting wallet is:
- non-custodial
- fast & simple to use
- offers a lightning address (email format)
- includes BTC map & other merchant-friendly features
