I learned a great lesson in dishonesty today, from someone too close for me to ever imagine they would lie to me. I have used small white lies in my life to make uncomfortable situations more bearable or to make people feel better without confronting them with reality. Even that is not worth it. The truth prevails over everything.

Real danger is nothing more than just living.
