@98dbecb5 Mir geht es rein um die initiale Aussage dabei.
Es gibt bei einem Kunden ein Problem, dass also die Mitarbeiter "plötzlich" Probleme haben sich einzuwühlen. Als Aussage wird unter Anderem herangeführt, dass dies auf Grund von reinen IPv6 Anschlüssen zurückzuführen sei. Ich rede dabei nicht über Konzeptionelle RFC's, sondern über den etwaigen, problematischen Aufbau, der irgendwie schlicht versucht auszusagen, dass der Glasfaseranbieter der Firma wohl noch kein natives IPv6 anbietet.
Mir stellen sich dabei folgende Fragen:
- Warum wurden etwaige unterschiedliche Bedingungen während der Konzeptionsphase der Einführung eines VPN Gateways nicht beachtet?
- Warum wird hier von _reinen_ IPv6 Anschlüssen bei den Mitarbeitern gesprochen, die sich dann einwählen?
- Warum wird von der Firma keine adäquate Lösung für (betroffene/allgemein) Mitarbeiter (via Mobilfunk) bereitgestellt?
- Ich mal gerade kurz in die Peeringtable unserer Boarder router schaute und kein einziger B2C Anbieter nur v6 announced
So sehr ich den Wechsel auf #IPv6 auch unterstütze, kann ich dieses Problem nicht nachvollziehen.
@1f3eaa1a Hach, ich hadere noch. Extra damals die Series X geholt zusammen mit CP2077. Grafik war so lala, bugs genug, Story war cool.... Ich überlege immer noch PL zu holen... Aber wir haben gerade auf Netflix in einem Zug Witcher durchgeguckt, jetzt will die Frau tatsächlich Witcher zocken... und ich irgendwie auch noch mal :D

@5f9bb1a8 It's crazy... just have a look at NY. I think here in Europe we're still pretty fine compared to all other ones - especially here in central/west Europe. Things are probably slightly different in the southern of Europe... But I think within the next 10 yrs it'll also have more and more impacts here.

@b53c11cd indeed! And I’m not quite sure if it’s going into the right direction. From a technical aspect - yes it’s great. But it’s so easy to recreate photos and voices of people. We can adapt their pronunciation and art of speaking to make it more authentic.
More afraid I’m regarding deep fake videos including an adapted art of speaking and their voice. While this is still much work and the masterlevel, we will soon reach models for videos. At this point, I’m absolutely afraid of upcoming political fake stuff and created porn content. Last one is already a problem since it just needs some pictures of someone’s crush on Instagram…
@5f9bb1a8 yes electrical rates are exactly the issue. When working in the DC I had unlimited possibilities and great hardware. Now, everything is hosted externally with edge fitting resources. Now, I want to test something which can not be tested on a local VM and I’m forced to order a new VPS

Recently, I copied a voice from YT tech talks of one of my mate (and my own one). I also gave it a try to create a stable diffusion model from a random person of instagram.

@b53c11cd other ones use it also for training their model sets (llm, photos, voice copy ). Who posts public should simply be aware of it. Yeah, yeah… violating the ToS

@5f9bb1a8 Hehe :D I think I need more time for it. I love CARP w/ pf-sync but I think this is pretty outdated for today’s usage. There’re just really a few ones that use such setups or are interested and also not much changed there over the years.
Jails is a really cool thing and I love jails & solaris zones but I think this is also pretty old. Sure, it evolved like no one uses ezjail anymore but at least everything is more or less the same.
SELinux is one of the hardest things but still the same like all the years.... So I think, these ones aren’t that important. So, we’re coming to some more modern things like Ansible module or Kubernetes Operator development. I think there’re some but not update, complete and fully right. So, maybe stick to this...
@5f9bb1a8 especially when you want to test it, watch out for older devices. If it should be very cheap an older S10 could be a solution. I took an older S20 5G because it comes with 12GB RAM which is pretty good for running multiple apps at the same time.
