My TLDR – at the end of the day people you mention are focused on attention and monetization. They don’t believe investing in this platform will benefit them in the long run... It is understandable, takes unorthodox mind to understand nostr. Plus they have channels with tons of subscribers to manage, and that’s a lot of work.
They’ll come around once proven wrong…
I think we're at the breaking point, cryptographical delegation upon us. We'll just let the YouTubers and TikTokers wipe the floor with leftover legacy politicians.
I am convinced that information is the ultimate carrot & stick.
As our consciousness evolves and technology advances, it’s becoming clear that people can be guided simply by the information they consume. We’re like bacteria in a gut - part of a system that seems logical, where we believe our actions are driven by free will, but it’s all an illusion. Now, others can pull our strings by manipulating the information we receive.
This is why privacy and cryptography are essential. You should have the ability to process information privately and control what information you share and how you share it with the world.
The more we technologically advance, the more teachings of cypherpunks will grow in importance. And I look forward to witnessing that future unfolding alongside all of you... as we make progress toward the machine civilization.

Great points, I think this is where separate identity/nym could also come in play.
If I could define another npub to which I delegate reports - that would somewhat work even with Amethyst current approach. nostr:nprofile1qqsdv8emcke7k3qqaldwv956tstu40ejg663gdsaayuuujs6pknw7jspp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmqpzfmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2uc86mqq0 and Primal did this in UI where you could follow someone else's mute list... if I could have that, but also to say - when I report, report though this npub - I would be OK. And then multiple people could use that same npub (nsec sharing is another issue though)

Also @Vitor Pamplona - one more thing that Uncle as a gentleman of the world wants to bring up here: reporting behavior is very culture / character dependent. It is very different in Asia (where I assume @சாரு-秋陽 is from) vs Europe vs US, etc...
I think this is the main point... you've already implemented private / public reporting in a way that you see the most relevant.
And the way I understand your position is: reporting has to be 100% public, otherwise you don't consider it a valid report. So if someone wants to report "nudity" you would insist they do it publicly... there is no support for say reporting it privately or through intermediary.
In any case - this has been a great conversation and thanks to nostr:nprofile1qqsf03c2gsmx5ef4c9zmxvlew04gdh7u94afnknp33qvv3c94kvwxgspr3mhxue69uhksmmyd33x7epwvdhhyctrd3jjuar0dak8xtcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszxnhwden5te0wpuhyctdd9jzuenfv96x5ctx9e3k7mf0ss9zgs for his input as well. I'll keep looking into how to properly categorize notes and then also give that technology to others, think it's very important for scaling Nostr in the future.
It's more than that - in some cultures people will openly bring up problems while in others it is considered rude / egoistical.
I think discussing it from perspective of privacy consciousness rather than "how much female skin is showing" would make the discussion easier to follow and understand.
Private by default with option to make it public seems is a great idea. I think it's all about providing visibility setting. In between - where you report it to trusted delegated party is what would be default for me.
The participation of users is impacted by how public the system is. And there is obviously a range between forcing 100% public and completely private. By finding balance you would improve the system in absolute terms.
I understood at certain point of conversation that for you it is design decision... so we'll likely finish this conversation with "agree to disagree". But I see we're all better off and with more info on how to go forward... and I would like to contribute some code to this in near future. Also really glad nostr:nprofile1qqsf03c2gsmx5ef4c9zmxvlew04gdh7u94afnknp33qvv3c94kvwxgspr3mhxue69uhksmmyd33x7epwvdhhyctrd3jjuar0dak8xtcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszxnhwden5te0wpuhyctdd9jzuenfv96x5ctx9e3k7mf0ss9zgs joined, learned some cool new things.
Keep doing what you can, and flow towards what's effortless and fun for you. I definitely like what you're doing here on Nostr + Entropy hints you're dropping 😉
