@40bf96e5@d943771f@40b06bed@0598937a you joke about joining the family but you can always pitch me a show. The worst I can say is "no thanks but good luck!" 🤷♂️

Fuck the term "DM"
@ef6bffd2 Gibson/Epiphone SGs are pretty light. Fender/Squier Mustangs are very light, but the short scale might not be ideal. If you want something even lighter then I'd look at travel guitars.
Fun fact: $10/month patrons of the Late Night Linux Family get ad-free episodes of all our shows, and quite a few of them show up a day or so earlier than in the public RSS feeds! Ask The Hosts even shows up two weeks early!
So don't delay, give us your money today!

@40bf96e5 yeah there's something really nice about just plugging in, flicking a switch, and playing instantly. And being able to turn actual knobs to control things. You can hook the Katana up to a PC though to get more effects and tweak them etc. Kinda the best of both worlds.
Surround yourself with people who aren't afraid to call you a fucking idiot sometimes, even if they say it a bit more diplomatically. If nobody you know ever criticises anything you do or say, people are walking on eggshells while they watch you make horrible mistakes because they are too polite to tell you otherwise.
