I agree with this for sure, and I certainly don’t complain as I’ve been lucky enough as is. But some people easily get trapped and don’t see a way out, especially working class.
Not everyone has the skill set to work from home and they may not have the time to learn one either, unless we’re talking about something like answering a support phone or emails.

It really is tbh. Probably a countermeasure to bots and low quality follow for follow spam… but there has to be a better way. Too many real and talented users talking to the void on all of these mainstream platforms 😅

All the TikTok influencers and addicts freaking out but in reality the technological warfare happening via TikTok is plain as day.
America’s and many other countries youth are going to be so far behind the Chinese and any other country that has educational TikTok for their youth… in comparison to what ours are consuming, imo 🤷♂️
I’m sure they do, but if we’re talking strictly about the quality of the main content being pushed… I’d rather have kids learning anything educational vs emulating what the older generations are doing 🤷♂️
Somewhat like educational cartoons on TV. Their quality declined heavily after the 90s… from what I’ve seen at least 😅
I remember seeing how this visually impaired skater I follow used Instagram and it blew my mind. Technology and the human resolve can truly create magic ✨
