There are widely different takes on this concept- culturally and biologically. Agree in general, but think too many people think masculinity means physical force over others. Some tough-guy BS… is not masculinity. At least for me.
Pretty sure “nature” is so fucking nutz you can find an example to counter any cultural definition of ______. So that one kinda falls flat to me.

Mayor Pete B. Does. He plays the party line but is way more eloquent in attempting to communicate across partisan channels. Also struck me as just a better communicator than most, esp when answering questions unscripted.
Seems more a matter of world view through a very long lens of history - at the philosophical level. Cultural, religious and historically violent clashes over land and sovereignty in a more concrete sense. Each side feels justified and forced into a last stand mentality, or is able to use the feeling to good effect, while many powerful external forces are playing at “geopolitic”…but they continually manage to fuck things up for everyone but the arms dealers, bankers and lobbyists.

A lot of people think about cars and traffic and parking. It’s all about Mobility. And Public Transit is critical infrastructure for a well-functioning society.

I think all stories have many layers, just like creators have many reasons and goals in creating their art. Much of the woke “content” is not art, and the goals behind hit include representation for its sake.
I don’t enjoy art that feels forced. Or that seems to have subtle agenda’s - at the same time, subtle agenda’s can be rewarding if done artfully.
I also have to add - trying to absorb the opening of the 3-Body Problem is tough! It’s a good example of the challenges of reading material immersed in a culture and history different from my own experiences.
