Feel like I need a psychological deep-dive to figure out what horror movie I should watch.
-I strongly dislike seeing people get tortured. Unless they deserve it.
-Subtlety is good.
-But I saw The Haunting which is like the OG understated classic horror movie, and didn’t get scared.
-Explanation of the scary bad thing ruins it.
-But I want my curiosity satisfied.
-I keep watching recent horror such as Babadook and Hereditary, that’s supposed to be like a return to being anti-cheap jumpscares, and hated all of it.
Who wants to be my scary movie consultant
Yeah don’t bother helping women with employment difficulties find jobs. Throw them to the predators who will treat them like masturbation devices, give them infections, anal prolapse, create a market for more and more degenerate, violent sex, and age them until they’re too old and worn out for prostitution anymore but have no skills acquired to get them careers.

Why does it seem like every single thing people enjoy has to be “called out” now as harmful in some way? Costumes are racist, fireworks upset the animals and trigger PTSD, Halloween decorations kill the wildlife. No one ever seems to have fun alternatives to suggest (heaven forfend the delicate crowd stoop to earplugs on July 4th!), it’s just “everything you like is actually bad because XYZ.”
I swear someone gets a kick out of it.
