So the cat has decided that the bed is hers. She no longer hops off when I enter the room. We'll see how she feels when I get in.

She's also being more vocal. I still haven't heard a full-on meow out of her, but she now makes what sounds like a cross between a chirp and a squeak. She really let me have it when I was late with her wet food. 

 Do you regret gaining her trust yet 

 Sounds like you two are becoming good friends! 

 That is so excellent. 

(Chirp and a squeak is a normal cat sound, believe it or not.)
