I think I might be able to confidently say that I'm transabled
I've always been intrigued by the idea of having a limp (I'm gonna make a translimp flag one of these days cuz I don't think it's been coined yet), and seeing people with crutches or canes has always made me envious. I also feel some desire to need to support myself with my upper body when standing up, such as using a table.
Now I just need to figure out what specific disability I desire that causes a limp lol. But until I do I'll just call myself translimp and crutchian
Something that's always intrigued me is the tendency to be trans. (I'll explain what I mean by that.)
It used to just be that I was transgender and my brother wasn't. Whatever, it's about a ⅓ chance were both trans according to statistics, so no biggie. But for me to also be transrace, and potentially transabled and transage? That's four transes for me, bisexuality and panromanticism, and yapness to top it all off. Meanwhile my brother is ciseverything, straight, and only attracted to adults.
What went wrong (/s)? Lol
I feel like I look homeless when people see me just sitting in front of stores
But I just don't have a car, so when I need to wait for someplace to open I sit outside
I feel like this should be more normalized and not seen as loitering or squatting. Excuse me if I can't afford a damn car in this economy, and nor do I want to drive one for the environment
@65c778a7 queer people: I knew I liked the same gender when I was a kid! It's not just something you figure out as an adult
Maps: ah, so surely they must also be explore to explore their sexuality if they know what it is
QP: you're a predator for sexualizing kids. People can't consent until 18
???????
Gender is a social construct, yes, but it always puts a sour taste in my mouth when people use that to "explain" why being transgender is valid.
That's... not why being transgender is valid. If we lived in a genderless society, then surely some people would still have the desire to have traits of another sex.
The real reason being trans is valid is because... well, it is. It's a subjective experience about your identity, what you wanna be, what you feel like you should've been born as, what you are, and a million other things.
People say that "oh trans people have their brains develop like their identified gender!" but never seem to mention how this can't apply for non-binary, genderfluid, xenogender, etc.
I've said it before, but if you use "the development of the brain" or "gender is a social construct" to validate the existence of trans people, then you're no better than the people who say you need dysphoria to be trans.
I also heard someone say once, in an attempt to "disprove" transrace validity, that their theory as to why transgender people existed was because somewhere in sexual development their brains sometimes switch genders or something. I pointed out how bullshit and unproven this was and they were like "it may not be proven, but it's a plausible theory, and there's no way at all to explain transrace people"
Like, fuck off. If you think there's a need to "explain" transgender people, then you're a bigot. We don't need "explaining".
It's also funny that the exact same truscums who say "you need dysphoria to make you trans" turn their heads when transids tell them about their race or age dysphoria.
I'm sorry, is my dysphoria not valid enough for you? What's the point of being truscum if you're ignoring others' dysphorias? Really?
Consent is a very complicated thing.
My guidelines for consent have always been
Consent beforehand
Consent during and before specific acts
Consent to stop whenever you want
It's why I'm contact neutral for zoo, cuz I feel like 2 can be hard to gauge.
But I was thinking about consensual somnophilia. In the past a sexual partner and I talked about using each other in our sleep, and how if we did we'd give consent the night before. (Sadly it never ended up happening :( )
I 100% believe this to be true consent, as I'm telling someone I consent to them using me while I'm asleep.
But at the same time, this doesn't satisfy points 2 or 3 of the basis I've been using for "proper consent".
Makes me rethink my contact stance for zoo a bit.
Again, consent is complex.
I hate it when people ask me "you know kids can't consent, right?"
Like, no, I don't know that. I don't agree with that. Stop being so condescending with your yes and no questions. Is it so hard to believe that I have a different opinion than you?
@Cardinal Directions I've kidnapped 5 kids. Half of them are in my basement and half of them are in my attic
Also if any antis see this for the love of God its a joke
