 I feel like I look homeless when people see me just sitting in front of stores
But I just don't have a car, so when I need to wait for someplace to open I sit outside
I feel like this should be more normalized and not seen as loitering or squatting. Excuse me if I can't afford a damn car in this economy, and nor do I want to drive one for the environment
 @b42c3131 even if you were homeless that shouldnt be stigmatized either tbh

Story time

I like sitting on the ground. So one time I was sitting on the ground next to the bus stop and some ass threw a couple cents at me with a shit eating grin. I didn't grab his stupid money.
 @b42c3131 We need to legalize just fucking existing
 @b42c3131 I always found Americat so strange with how underdeveloped the public transportation is, along how frowned upon it is to use it.
There are bus lines that go to one stop but none back, due to corporate something something reasons. Along with the complete neglect of the railway and subway systems.

Cars shouldn't be required in a healthy society to go to and from work within a town or city (unless the car is somehow part of your job, driving to clients etc). And I'm pretty sure the car dependence is deliberately set up to force people to take on high interest loans for overpriced cars, especially after programs such as "cash for clunkers" basically deleted a ton of affordable options from the market for those who truly need one without going into debt... :cirno_stare:

Luxuries shouldn't be a requirement to exist. And being a productive commuter shouldn't have social stigma. :cirno_for_reals:
 @b42c3131 Bike?
 @b42c3131 goddammit, i was homeless and sometimes i had to walk out of my way four or five blocks to find any place to sit down, and that was a city said (by NIMBYs) to be designed in a way which is "too homeless friendly" 🤬
