@b42c3131 I always found Americat so strange with how underdeveloped the public transportation is, along how frowned upon it is to use it.
There are bus lines that go to one stop but none back, due to corporate something something reasons. Along with the complete neglect of the railway and subway systems.
Cars shouldn't be required in a healthy society to go to and from work within a town or city (unless the car is somehow part of your job, driving to clients etc). And I'm pretty sure the car dependence is deliberately set up to force people to take on high interest loans for overpriced cars, especially after programs such as "cash for clunkers" basically deleted a ton of affordable options from the market for those who truly need one without going into debt... :cirno_stare:
Luxuries shouldn't be a requirement to exist. And being a productive commuter shouldn't have social stigma. :cirno_for_reals:
