I remember wondering why they renamed the book "Men Who Hate Women" to "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" in the US (original title in Swedish: Män som hatar kvinnor)
Now the denial is obvious. Many men do hate women and the book and movie wouldn't have succeeded.
It somehow turned from a feminist condemnation on society to a male fantasy series about a nerdy, tattooed "girl", not even woman.
