 I'm not even minimally surprised that commie Steve Klabnik, who tried (and failed) to cancel Curtis Yarvin at LambdaConf, and then LambdaConf itself, physically looks like a horrible resentful mutant in real life with tats that look like Kaposi's sarcoma. 

 Has Moldbug jumped the shark with Urbit?  I've been watching the wartime addresses he's been posting, and some of those things he's saying seem quite at odds with the initial vision. 

 How the hell does GadgetBridge have an open PR (at its codeberg repo) actually allowing the export of data to a syncable folder on Android, but nobody merged it, and now it's lingering with merge conflicts?

What's worse, there's a ticket with no official reply,, open for four years, asking the devs to PLEASE allow backups.  No work done there.

Thanks to me trusting these folks, if my phone bites the dust, all my health data is GONE, FOREVER.  Guess it's my fault for trusting open source yet again.  I am such a masochist. 

 Why couldn't the Amethyst developers simply include a WebDAV media upload server option?  Let me upload to my own DAV server with my own credentials stored in the app, browse and manage the files in the server using standard DAV clients...

Sigh.
