Make your end users fully aware it's not just something you turn on and works right away. I would emphasize relays, topical hashtags for discovering/attracting people w/mutual interests, and setting up wallet connect (self custodial) as the most important goals in mind.

I didn't have these problems until I got Alby. Kinda wish I hadn't, because now my wallet connect is also fukt. But all the other browser signers have been a nightmare too.
G+ was where the more techy content-consuming and curating geeks felt more like they belonged, vs at FB.
G+ also pioneered the mass world video calling, and while there were a few downsides to G+, I wasn't comparing it to nostr in any way except for the fact that when things are new, they're bound to be quite unvarnished and a bit rocky to navigate, at first...but we all gotta help each other.

Where I come from, farmers markets are very statist and tied to banks and the USDA. Hoping the ones you are trying to convert aren't. Because otherwise, their local govts will be trying to get their hands all over it.
I wish I could care, landlord razes everything that grows around here. I'm actually surprised he hasn't tarped and bungeed-up the grill and outdoor furniture yet. He's usually done it by now. Killjoy.
