 I don't disagree with this list, but it is based on value proposition that is not user centric. 

 Yep, but that wasn't the goal. The goal is to move devs to enjoy making micro apps.  

 "Nano clients" are also needed, they could ease the path for those who are trying to start programming and learn how Nostr works and to run private services, without needing a front end.

 Is there any app out there with a built in lighting wallet now that Primal has paused new wallets? 

Looking for an option to onboard new users to #nostr without much friction.

Getalby has gated their service.  

 @Alby hasn’t really gated it.  

But moved it to a paid hosted version to avoid the problem that primal is also having.  

I run their paid cloud node for @NWC services and it’s pretty good.  

But can also appreciate looking for a free service.  

Are you running your own node like @Start9 ? As that can also be an option.
