Can this work via the existing LN Address info in profiles or do profiles need expanding to better support nutzaps natively?
A Nostr-native Discord killer that simply has:
- Circles (a la Google + for people-focused notes)
- Tags (for topic(s)-focused notes)
Would be epic.
Tagging notes gets us away from compartmentalised channels, which silo discussions, often end up 'off-topic' quickly and limit flow.

Yep, would be private. Probably a relay per community.
The tags become the channels - plural.
You can follow different tag combos. One or more tags can be added to or removed from rolling discussions as necessary.
I might have to mock something up.
The problem being solved is getting straight-jacketed by channels. This seriously inhibits the flow of a conversation if trying to remain 'on-topic' imho.
UX would need some serious thought though. Know anyone? 👀
