My new Nostr Micro Browser app is almost ready.
It utilizes the actual browser shell for rendering WebApps or any website with Nostr extension supportβno Iframe or WebView.
It includes Nostr Calendar, Nostr Notes, and seamless NostrNet integration. You can also add your custom Nostr/Web app. Coming soon.

I'm into computer science, but if I had to choose something else, it would be Biophysics. I love that field; it has so much potential.
After I get my master's in CS, I will start learning Biophysics again.
MemosAI, a smart, note-taking PWA. It very powerful web app, it use Azure api for Ai stuff, it's also open source.
Transcribe speech
Summarize that transcription
Take notes based on that transcript and more!
It's also very accurate. I should offer this with NostrNet portal π€

Binance CEO pled guilty to money laundering. BINANCE will pay $4.3 billion in fines per the WSJ
Remember: Not your keys, not your coins.
Also, don't let your hard-earned money be used by these transnational criminals.
The web apps you add to the NostrNet.work web portal now appears on its front page for easy access.
NostrNet web portal itself is a standalone PWA using "Custom Tabs," an actual instance of the browser but contained and lightweight.
Standalone PWA for the web portal will be available soon and might even replace NostrNet. π

I just learned something very interesting. It's little tricky to explain but I will try
In this screen recording, X opens in a new inbuilt browser, as intended but NostrNet and the calendar app open as PWAs.
Surprisingly, I never installed them, so how are they openning as standalone PWA. π€
It's like clicking an email link in your browser & your browser into an email app. It's makes no sense. π
It turns out, if your web apps share the same apex domain (e.g., note.nostrnet.work, cal.nostrnet.work), you can create a seamless flow between PWAs.
I did it, and now it's live with the NostrNet web portal.π€

Right now, It's is only standalone PWA. I have plans to integrate it with NostrNet, incorporating serverless auto-backup.
It's open source, so anyone interested in integration is more than welcome. I can also assist in the integration process.
Every client should at least consider doing it for the follow and relay list; that will solve a significant problem.

NostrNet's built-in web portal now allows you to add your favorite web apps.
It doesn't use iframes or webview for display; instead, it utilizes an actual browser instance that is contained, lightweight and secure.
This approach ensures support for all websites, even those denying iframe permissions but this feature is PWA exclusive.

If you use this website, it's probably a good idea to turn it into a PWA, aka install it.
If you use an extension for login, use that browser to install it. That way, you will also have the extension.
PWAs will open like standalone apps, providing a better overall experience on this website. You will also have access to the inbuilt browser and some other stuff.
We can't rely on a company to guarantee free speech. Even if they want to provide free speech, it's not possible for them.
Nostr turns free speech into a codeβan open standard, easy to implement and build on.
Here, we are heading in the right direction imo. nostr:note1u9pgmaedj2gvkxxrd57qp0a3jvql6mdpmlwrzrf7tdwewzphm4rq2x87jq
When censorship begins, it affects everyone, regardless of which side you're on. It doesn't stop until everyone adheres to the "official line."
Banning raw text is undoubtedly top-tier censorship. Remember when they tried to ban this π emoji?
We are headed towards Orwellian; we must resist. If free speech is gone, everything is gone.

#### Comprehensive summary of Ted Kaczynski's manifesto, titled Industrial Society and Its Future:
Ted Kaczynski's manifesto, Industrial Society and Its Future, is a lengthy essay in which he outlines his philosophy and motivations for carrying out a series of bombings between 1978 and 1995. It delves into his deeply held beliefs about the destructive nature of modern society and the role of technology in fueling this destruction.
At the heart of Kaczynski's manifesto lies the notion that modern society is inherently destructive, a system that relentlessly chips away at individual freedom and the natural world. He argues that technology, with its unchecked growth and pervasive influence, is the primary catalyst for this destruction.
Kaczynski asserts that humans have become increasingly dependent on technology, a reliance that has led to a loss of independence and the erosion of traditional values. He believes that technology has become a tool of control, wielded by a select few to maintain their power and dominance over others.
In his critique of technology, Kaczynski highlights its detrimental impact on the environment. He contends that our technological advancements have come at a steep cost, with pollution, resource depletion, and environmental degradation as the consequences of our unchecked pursuit of technological progress.
Furthermore, Kaczynski warns of the rise of a new class of individuals, those he terms the "technosphere." These individuals, according to Kaczynski, are characterized by their preoccupation with technology and their disregard for the well-being of others. They are the embodiment of the destructive forces that Kaczynski associates with modern society.
As a solution to the ills he perceives in modern society, Kaczynski advocates for a return to a simpler, more primitive way of life. He envisions a society where humans live in harmony with nature, free from the constraints of technology and the destructive forces it has unleashed.
Kaczynski's manifesto is a complex and controversial work. While some have praised his insights into the dangers of technology, others have condemned his violence and his misanthropic views. Despite these differing perspectives, Kaczynski's manifesto remains a significant document that raises critical questions about the future of humanity and the role of technology in our lives.
It serves as a stark reminder of the potential downsides of technological progress and the importance of preserving our freedom, individuality, and the natural world. Kaczynski's manifesto is a call to action, urging us to critically examine the trajectory of modern society and to take a stand against the destructive forces that threaten our well-being and the planet's future. π€
In the next few updates, you will have that feature. I want it to provide highly premium experience.
Additionally, I will be adding an RSS reader for advanced web feed capabilities.
If it's happening locally, then that shouldn't be a problem, imo π€
If users truly adopt this, we can easily solve content/user discovery or, at the very least, make it much easier.
It creates instances of your actual browser to run external websites. It runs every website. If websites run on a browser, it runs on this too.
I have made it PWA-exclusive because web custom tabs are not supported in the browser. I will keep improving it. RSS integration is also coming. nostr:note1cavmhw75yhsrz73f2zd0fadgetrefm6kgyuarqja4a245tjvkquqtmj4ys
The new Web Portal for NostrNet.work is now live for Progressive Web App (PWA) users. Its PWA exclusive.
The circular icon in the top-right corner serves as a web portal button and will only appear when you turn NostrNet into a PWA.
It supports all websites and your existing extensions. Essentially, it functions as your actual browser.

It's a way to turn websites into standalone App, some websites support that feature. You can turn them into app on any operating system, what device are you using?
That's because iOS/Safari WebKit doesn't support extensions in PWAs. You can use it on PC, Android, or Mac, but extensions don't work on Safari and iOS.
I am looking for some solutions, but there will be compromises :(
Because it uses Lnbits in the backend, you can even attach your own Lnbits & node.
However, there are also some differences, such as a custom marketplace extension and some more changes.
I also tried to keep the experience simple. It's also running on good hardware.
With Zapit.live, you can place any link behind lightning paywalls for articles, media links, cloud folder links for selling books, or virtually anything.
You can have a Bitcoin payment layer on virtually anything. Your substack articles, unlisted yt video, so many possibilities.
With simple DM bot, you can turn articles into paid Newsletter.

Non-consensual ads are just wrong, regardless of the amount. It's a very misguided direction.
I have built a reusable voucher system where users manually click on a link, then they see the ad, and multiple users can get paid from a single voucher, you can also set interval between withdraws.
Its working, I will integrate this with zapit.live soon.
Why make these decisions in such an authoritarian way? Why not make the "blanket ban" change optional?
Also, outright banning a major competitor's wallet just seems absolutely wrong.
