Alexander the Great!
Over the span of a decade, he led around 40,000 soldiers on a campaign that left an indelible mark on the world, shaping its course for centuries, if not eternity.
I think this documentary captures it pretty well.

This was the one of the most magnificent fight.
On one side was Khamzat, one of the most feared fighters, and on the other side was Gilbert, who fears no one. It was a war!
Now it's also freely available on YT, "sensitive content warning"

Lightning-based subscriptions can work more efficiently than our traditional system.
Just like one-click Zap, you should be able to create subscriptions in one click using Nostr wallet connect.
But still Bitcoin is very neche for most of the people. So I get your point.
They suddenly realize that there is a very large and influential space they don't really control much, so they have started capturing it.
The problem with states everywhere is that they want to control every single aspect of your life.
Yes, but it keeps your contacts. So, even if some third-party CDN refuses to provide your services, you can change to another one and still have your audience.
Personally, I like this model. Hosting videos on 'distributed' relays is a nightmare.
2,800,000 tadpoles π
This guy is going to single-handedly destroy his local ecosystem & recreate the plague of frogs from the Book of Exodus. He isn't a menace, he's an outright villain. π
Seriously, how is this even legal, isn't this bio-terrorism. Millions of frogs are going to get killed on roads. He does this every year. π€·ββοΈ

I made two changes to NostrNet.work, one of the change was philosophically very important for me:
First: I replaced my previous backup service with a new one and also added OddBean.
Second: From now on, as you start adding new links to NostrNet, I can't add any new apps to your dashboard. Even if I keep new app as default, you won't see them unless you click "reset" or add them manually.
This change prioritizes user control, I can't randomly add any web app to your custom dashboard.
I concur, the user bears the ultimate responsibility. By the way it's not something specific to your service. I really think you have done a great job. If used with responsibility it can be a great tool.
You get it, bears are highly intelligent fighters and grapplers. Some people in Russia, especially in Dagestan, use small bears to practice their Sambo fighting style.
Next update, NostrSync backup service will come with custom relays option, along with the capability to store backups obtained from external sources.
This app allows you to fetch, download, manage, update, and broadcast your Nostr data across all existing relays without any external servers. More to come! π€

After this update you will be able to broadcast notes to selected relays. Custom broadcast is also coming soon you will be able to specify particular kinds of events. And I will see if it's possible to also provide simple way to broadcast selected events.
I have seen these stats. I think many factors contributed to this, from the economy to culture.
Not to mention, for a long period of time, they were disenfranchised in society and terrorized by every single institution. No one disagrees with that. Those things shaped their culture and their societies around them.
Does it justify the crime someone is doing today? Absolutely not. But blaming everything on race is just not right.
Personally, I can't hate or judge a person just based on how they look.
The problem with generalization is that there are many young Black youths contributing to society, both in the military and in the fight against this unfair financial system along with us.
Saying that a person is inherently violent or a bad element just because of the color of their skin is very disrespectful towards our fellow members, imo. And I think it's also very lazy.
Generalization works great with less complex objects, but when it comes to humans, we are very complex. Even my brother has a completely different experience and understanding of life than I do.
