Not a slow week at all! I just genuinely think a conversation with @QW and @corndalorian on @Titcoin will bring people value, and I am personally really excited to talk with them.
Bitcoin podcasts all having the same “big name” guests over and over and over again is fine and understandable because those big names generate the most engagement. This is the incentive structure of the podcasting world. A Saylor interview will always be a podcaster’s number one most viewed episode. Heck, even outside of Bitcoin, Joe Rogan gets exponentially more views when Elon Musk comes on than when it’s a random MMA fighter, but that doesn’t mean that random fighter won’t bring a ton of signal and unique value.
This is my hobby, not my job, and I’m making a point to have whomever the hootin’ heck I feel like on THE Bitcoin Podcast.
Sure, I have “big names” on the show, because many people won’t even look at a podcast unless the guest is someone they recognize, and those big names are big names for a reason; they bring a ton of signal.
But I also have anons, developers, and generally anyone I feel like talking to.
QW and Corn have been hardcore Nostr users for a long time, and I like these dudes. So I invited them on the show.
I hope you will find the conversation valuable 🤙
This is super cool. Via Brian Roemmele:

BOTH CANDIDATES: “WE SHOULD GET AWAY FROM THIS IDEA OF USING HOUSING AS A COMMODITY.”
BRÆKING: BOTH CANDIDATES IMPLICITLY ENDORSE #BITCOIN AS A SUPERIOR STORE OF VALUE, SAY HOUSES SHOULD BE USED FOR UTILITY VALUE ONLY, ARE SHITCOIN IN TERMS OF INVESTMENT.
Honestly JD Vance is crushing this debate.
He’s fact-checking the moderators as they “fact check” him.
He’s staying on message talking about issues that Americans actually care about (the economy, illegal immigration, etc.)
He’s calling out “experts” for being full of shit.
He’s calling out Walz for his debate tactics.
He doesn’t fall for the moderator’s bait.
It’s honestly weird to see a politician appear mildly competent in a debate these days…
I’m talking with independent journalist and #Bitcoin / freedom maximalist @efenigson tomorrow on @Titcoin
I had the pleasure of spending some time with Efrat in Nashville, and thoroughly enjoy her as a human.
Let me know if you have any questions for Efrat and make sure to give her a follow 🤙
Can’t wait until the presidential election is over so we can have three years of [losing team] blaming [winning team] for everything then do it all over again.
Even though agricultural technology has gotten exponentially better/more efficient/more productive, and technology is naturally *DEFLATIONARY* (cc @Jeff Booth ) food costs more now than ever.
Why? How is this possible?
Because our money is fundamentally broken.
When the government/central bank cartel prints money out of thin air, the purchasing power of the monetary unit (e.g. the U.S. dollar) goes down.
This is called “inflation.”
When centralized powers are in control of the monetary system, they will *always* debase the currency. The efficiency/productivity gains of technology (which should be making everything cheaper to buy) are stolen from you.
This is why #Bitcoin is so important. There will only ever be 21 million bitcoin and no one can print more.
When you save in Bitcoin, you benefit from the deflationary gains of technology. The things you want to buy get cheaper over time when priced in Bitcoin, not more expensive like when prices in any fiat currency.
When you save in fiat currency, your purchasing power shrinks.
When you save in Bitcoin, your purchasing power grows.

America is not a Democracy. America is a Constitutional Republic.
That is a good thing because our Constitution exists to protect individual rights from the whims of would-be totalitarians and the easily-sway-able masses.
"Our First Amendment stands as a major block to the ability to be able to hammer [disinformation] out of existence. What we need is to win...the right to govern by hopefully winning enough votes that you’re free to be able to implement change." - John Kerry
When the Constitution stands in the way of would-be totalitarians, they naturally suggest we disregard it… After all, freedom of speech can be quite dangerous (to the would-be totalitarians trying to centralize power), so perhaps it’s better to just get rid of that pesky First Amendment…
“To fight disinformation.”
“For your safety.”
“For the greater good.”
“To save democracy.”
Of course, the greatest spreaders of disinformation are the totalitarians themselves. They fear free speech because free speech removes the State’s ability to monopolize “The Truth.”
When speaking the truth becomes a crime, dissent itself is criminalized.
This is their goal.

If you were not familiar with the term “Sonder” from The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, now you are.
It is one of my favorite words/feelings. https://i.nostr.build/WQ5N9tR7Pkl4fSil.jpg
“We can't pick and choose people that get gravity and people that don't get gravity. Everyone just gets gravity. Everyone gets the protocol and we all live within that. And that's a rule without rulers. And I think Bitcoin is like gravity where it's just everyone gets free and open source money. Everyone gets programmable money, programmed and designed to maintain its purchasing power. And that's a rule.” - @adam on @Titcoinhttps://v.nostr.build/X7ncvSTyzWauo6Rb.mp4nostr:note1fx9ue7gmhyfmduken2r60huk4nnztxdy6hw2zg6au3dtuf2emzyqkt6tyc
