 @a6ff0b2b Have you tried unplugging and replugging in the same mouse? I am wondering if merely a change to the USB connection also solves it. 
 It is so ridiculous to have to restart my computer to update my overpriced monitor. Just insanity. 
 @e2d8748d And here we thought Samsung would come along and make a dumb 5K monitor for half the cost, but NOOOOO, they had to add their own stupid crap to it and charge just as much. Assholes, the lot of them.
