Haha, nah it's an Android app that runs in the background and pulls nostr events and shows you notifications - basically push notifications, which typically haven't been something that works well with current Android clients
Interesting, I haven't tried any of them, will check them out when I have time. It's funny actually, Fedora 41 was not playing well, network kept dropping to a crawl. Installed Ubuntu for now and it's pretty cozy I'm not gonna lie!

Yes, a way to do this would kinda solidify the censorship resistance part of using nostr. Sure, I can get banned from a relay(s), maybe they also purge my notes. But a way to then move to a more accepting set of relays and re-broadcast - BOOM!
Yeah I went a short way down the lightning node rabbit hole and definitely wasted quite a few sats. I guess it was fun, but yeah not a long term solution for me, ended up using Phoenix for holding some sats and Wallet of Satoshi for fun zaps 🤷♂️
