The beauty of NOSTR is that if you don't like a client you can move to a different client you are not trapped like traditional centralized protocols make you feel.

Most people I talk to don't even know what self custody means. It's such a foreign concept. It doesn't even register in their brains because every where they keep their money requires trust from a third party to not steal it from them or rehypothecate it.
