@43d7c4ea I’m not confident, it takes time which they don’t have. And with the dithering of the UK government I’d be surprised if any more manufacturers want to invest here. And why build cars here with EU batteries? Might as well move production to the EU.

@43d7c4ea can only agree, years before the pandemic did have one colleague quit when she couldn’t get flexible working to spend more time on childcare. Now it’s quite common for a zoom call to be ended by someone (either parent) having to go drive a child around. It shouldn’t however automatically be the mother who is spending more time on childcare, but suspect that’s a different conversation
