I have a device. Someone updates the software or part of it without asking me first or giving me a warning nor offering to delay? Sorry. Don't get it. If someone came and changed a tire / tyre of my car without asking, is that not criminal damage? (My #nixos machine seems never to do this and my mac asks me first always). #CrowdStrike
I cannot copy text content from #WhatsApp messages in Android 14. This means I have to use a desktop app to use WhatsApp content by copying and pasting things. What is the matter here? Does the #iOS app also operate so terribly ?

my thinkpad T480s has a latency of about 70 ms (wifi or wired) on firefox... and on chromium and edge ..... so what is the hardware cause ? what does apple do better ? Is my test meaningful?
@74178bce Given how important email is, I am always amazed how poor the GUIs are and bad the functionalities. The setup of proton mail with thunderbird on Ubuntu was doable but scary in a fun sort of way with the bridge thingy. Is it because there is no money in it? Seems a big gap in FOSS to me.
