As a child, sharpening pencils and making the points very long was a form of entertainment and exposition of skill. I don't think I ever made anything this beautiful.
I planted about 6500 of them on my sloped property to protect against erosion. I was just curious how you were using them. I didn't know about water channels. what purpose does it serve? strictly for erosion or are you using the water?
Costa Rica is so sick. I spent the day getting a few new trees for the farm.
Who knows about miracle fruit? What about mabolo? pitayas are loaded and ready to deliver to the farm in the morning!

850 fruit trees planted in the last 3 weeks. it's hard to tell what you're seeing in the photo but they're space 5m apart and in straight lines that run across the slope. next up, piñas, pitayas, and caña.

I was thinking about this the other day. I remember using ringtone apps like zedge back in 2010 but completely lost interest in ringtone after switching to an iPhone for business in 2014. Is it common for people to have custom ringtones these days? my wife and I both use the stock ringers.
I maintain an FB account. Just posted this there. With over 870 friends and family, I'm absolutely certain the engagement with the post will be abysmal, I'll report back sometime later in the week.
loving it. car issues are the biggest complaint but quality of life is certainly better than any major metro in the US like my previous location. 5 min from some of the best beaches. excellent butcher nearby. the rainy season hasn't really been as horrible as everyone made it out to be. business is decent. onward!
GM. PV. 7am on the mountain. Above the clouds. The farm is taking shape. We are cutting brush and grass and have started building a nursery. The winter is here in CR and it's time to plant.

Yes! Thank you! Currently there are 50 cows on the property. They'll be moving off soon, but we will probably bring in some as well as goats, pigs and chickens. We are in desperate need of soil stabilization. So I'm planting vetiver and other plants with large root masses to help stabilize the slope.
yeah thanks for that info! I need to take a shovel and machete into the jungle and find it. i have about 120 acres of secondary forest preserve that I haven't even seen due to access. I just need to take some time and go in there. I'm sure there are all sorts of goodies hiding in the shade of the trees.
GM. PV. Here is a picture of a hidden bitcoin mine running on hydroelectric power in the middle of the jungle. 400 S19J Pro's. #brrrr
