Have you met my dude @mike? He's one hell of a strong individual. One might even say, a bit of a Hardcastle... (Mike likes dad jokes too.) He also wrote a book about Bitcoin.

With me, you'll never know what you'll get. It could be a shitpost, a meme, GIF, random song lyrics, or a nice and informative post about Nostr content, value or value, or educational content typing to onboard the masses.
🤣 I just realized that the BITCOIN Act by Senator Lummis stands for "Boosting Innovation, Technology, and Competitiveness through Optimized Investment Nationwide Act".
Hey ChatGPT, I need an acronym for the word Bitcoin 🤣
If you're using the #NostrElites relay, you can also check out the new NIP-29 community chat at https://chachi.chat/nostrelites.org
You will need a NIP-07 web browser extension such as Nostr Connect or Alby.
I don't know what this will be used for, besides random chatting and random testing of these Discord-like community chats.
This app by @verbiricha is still really new, so bugs will exist.
Good morning and pura vida, Nostr! It's time to create notes and send zaps! 🫂🤙🏻💜
Freedom technology demands patience and effort, much like the individual freedoms themselves. Both are challenging. Keep pushing.
I haven't installed a custom ROM on my Android smartphone in many years. The process for doing so now is so incredibly easy compared to the first 10 years of Android devices. Wow. The web installer for GrapheneOS makes it so easy that I believe everyone can now do this.
I used MIUI for a while back in 2010. I used to help do some of the releases and English translations for the HTC Incredible. I ran MIUI.us for a while. Eventually I migrated over to CM7 when it launched and pretty much stayed with CyanogenMod for the next several years. I ran AOKP a little because I liked Roman and I ran ParanoidAndroid a bit for fun, but I always came back to CM. I was friends with many of the CM devs and hung out with a lot of them, so it was an easy choice.
Historically they always had exploits found eventually allowing people to bypass and root. Is that no longer the case? I haven't paid attention to this space in a very long while.
I honestly haven't owned a non Google device since the HTC Incredible in 2010 and Moto X in 2012. It's been Google Nexus and Google Pixel since. They are the most open and most developer friendly devices.
That's literally how he became president 😂 Back in 2014/15, /r/The_Donald was just shitposts and memes making fun of Trump. It was mostly people from /r/fatpeoplehate that needed a new home after their sub was banned. So they went there to rip on Trump. After a while, people started to believe the memes and shitposts. Slowly over a year or so it became a fan subreddit. It was wild to witness. It kind of reminded me of the old 4chan memes that people outside 4chan started to believe.
WoT relays help reduce spam to almost zero. They're great for most Nostr users. They aren't good for new users however, because new users don't have a WoT yet.
The new user would need someone to follow them for them to enter into a Web of Trust. Yyou can follow as many people as you'd like and your WoT isn't improved.
My follows and my follows follows, correct. Correct again, a new person following me is not in my WoT.
Which is why I said this system hurts new users because they have zero WoT.
It doesn't actively do this. If you follow a spammer then a spammer can write to my relay. It's up to the community to not follow them. But I can always blackliat an npub.
The issue with using a relay on your own home network and accessing it outside of your home, comes down to accessibility. You need a way to connect to your home. Several methods exist to poke a hole through your network. You eluded to both. You need TOR or another method such as Tailscale or a slightly more complicated method with port forwarding, an SSL cert, Cloudflare and/or DNS entries.
