The value of my MADEX art just skyrocketed

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."
Ezekiel 25:17

Building a successful company is hard.
Doing so in the bitcoin space is orders of magnitude more difficult.
It's a constant battle with financial regulations, technological development, and security concerns.
It's not for the faint of heart.
For me...the juice is worth the squeeze.
Natural followup question:
If I post a note via amethyst, with several hundred less followers than primal, will those several hundred followers not see my note? I assume they will, eventually?
One thing that is glaringly obvious after spending a short period of time off twitter/on Nostr:
The twitter algos are hyperspecialized in inciting and amplifying highly charged emotional interactions.
This becomes more and more evident the longer you spend away from the platform.
The interactions feel much more natural, positive, and communal on Nostr. Good vibes all around.
Deactivated my twitter account
I have 30 days to reconsider or it will be permanently deleted
This is the start of my 30 day, full-time Nostr trial
Let the games begin
Day 3
I woke up this morning and didn't automatically reach for my phone and start scrolling through my twitter feed.
I didn't realize how much that consistently affected my mood and mindset for the day.
This feels like breaking a severe sugar addiction.
Sometimes I still reach for my phone, searching for the app (now deleted).
Dopamine and outrage is the product.

Day 4
Still here
It gets quiet from time to time and that's ok
Learning to accept the tides rolling in and out, instead of a the constant stream of content through a firehose

Day 5
People have started to reach out to me to check on my wellbeing.
"Suspended, surely. It was a matter of time."
They're stunned that this is a voluntary decision.
As I learn about and discuss Nostr, I feel exactly as I did on the topic of bitcoin a decade ago - mostly blank stares, confusion, and eye rolls.
The sparks of understanding and insight are addictive. I want to share it with the world, though I know from experience most will not be ready.
In Greek mythology, Cassandra was a Trojan priestess dedicated to the god Apollo and fated by him to true prophecies, but never to be believed.
We, as bitcoiners and nostriches, have the curse of Cassandra.
Right, but early.
Most won't believe us and it can drive us mad if we let it. I'd like to believe we can always play the role of touchpoint, even if we're not the ones carrying someone across the finish line in every instance.

one of the tradeoffs to the non-algo curated feed is the the "liveness" of the experience
content flowing in a chronological sequence flattens the attention tunnel and allows for people to communicate in a natural way while reducing potential biases
however, the "liveness" of the experience can also make me feel like I've missed out on a lot when I'm not actively engaged
is there a way to offset that and experience a curated feed sorted by certain metrics, whether they be simple or complex algos?
algos are not inherently evil in and of themselves
I seek balance
