This is what influencers really mean when they talk about bitcoin's Lindy Effect. 58k is the true terminal price target of Bitcoin. Stock-to-fomo is ded.
Division by zero can be thought of in terms of dividing by ever smaller numbers. Divide by 4 and get 4 parts; 2, 2 parts; 1, 1 part.
Divide by 0.5 and you get double what you had. By 0.25 and you get 4 times. Keep making your denominator smaller and smaller towards zero, and your result approaches infinity. So if you divide by zero, is the result always infinity?
No, and as is revealed by calculus, the result of approaching a zero denominator can actually be a real number. So in general, division by zero is undefined until proven otherwise.
Alright, the StartOS desktop is syncing the Blockchain now. It was pretty smooth. A piece of cake compared to setting up a server from scratch. It's now syncing the blockchain.
A couple notes from my experience:
- I had to use the non-free iso when installing StartOS because I had an Nvidia graphics card.
- I have two drives, and StartOS will give you the option to install the OS one one and use the other as storage. In 0.4, they'll be adding the ability to use more drives.
- You can't change the keyboard layout yet, so I accidentally typed in the server password as if I were in dvorak on the qwerty layout, which made logging in remotely very difficult. I opted to just reinstall and type it in properly.
- I don't know if the server supports wifi. So I connected it via Ethernet.
- I could easily add a user and share in my Synology NAS for StartOS to use for backups over smb. I think I already had the smb server enabled, so I just needed to put in the server and login info and it worked.
- I'm going to look into the StartOS SDK and see if I can't package up a couple of services I'm running on my current server like invoice plane and hedgedoc.

I have two hard drives in the desktop I'm installing start os on. During installation, I chose one to install StartOS on and then during setup I chose the other for storage. Is that ok?

Migration to the new PC is done ✅
Now to turn the old one into a Start9 server and migrate my current home server's services over. Wish me luck and zero data loss 🙏
