Hey @primal, I believe website link in profile’s bio does not work if the user didn’t explicitly include “https://“. I would expect that it should work.
Alex Garland did a good job with “Civil War”. I was surprised by the penultimate scene as it seemed to have introduced a new theme just before the movie ended and it made me think of Nightcrawler. Wasn’t sure what to make of that, but overall, good film to watch and ponder.
P.S. There were some really rough scenes.
Haha I watched this too. But even after seeing this, the books are great. I especially find them enjoyable as a slow burner. You get to appreciate the characters, writing itself, and the world building!
Biz here was a constant subliminal hum, and death the accepted punishment for laziness, carelessness, lack of grace, the failure to heed the demands of an intricate protocol.

Is nostr the best solution for building a service like the original twitter: 140 character limit, PSAs, breaking news with outgoing links, chatting on live events, etc?
I would say that movies, especially the second one, are implemented well technically, including cinematography, using multiple visual styles, representing scale of the conflict, world building, etc. I would also add that the pacing was great in the second one.
This is all in addition to the timeless story of Dune, as a meditation on power, heroes, and other themes that Herbert explored in the books.
