Went to sleep last night at 8:30pm. It's now 5:30am in Fortuna, Costa Rica, and the sun is up. The jungle is alive.
The native wildlife is having a fiesta, with an atrium of birds outside our room squawking and chirping at a high pitch. This is as close as one will get to Jurassic Park.

Government Debt

The Fed Buys Bonds
When the Fed decides to monetize the debt, it buys some of these Treasury bonds. But here's the catch: instead of using existing money, the Fed creates new money for this purpose.
Creating Money
The Fed has the unique power to create money out of thin air. So, when it buys the bonds, it credits the banks' accounts with new money that didn't exist before.

This is a societal problem.
It is the decay and respect of one’s community. Theft is undeserved & false entitlement. This has become an anthropological issue.
