Few more things to mention:
- If media was shared to Nostr using nostr.build, you can request deletion of the note or delete media and request deletion of all associated notes with it.
- See detailed status for media that require virus scanning (SVG, PDF, ZIP)
- See AI prompt for the AI generated images
- Update title and description
- (soon) See detailed analytics of the media
- (soon) Enlarge the image
- (soon) Remove background, replace the object in the image, use image as a base for AI generated image, etc.)
- Etc.
PSA: New media properties experience just dropped into your nostr.build account. As usual, I hope you enjoy it and find useful. If you experience any issues, please reply in this thread. 🫡

I would appreciate if people stopped putting words in my non-native English speaker mouth. Tone is subjective, period. Don’t read too much into what I said, it only means that I am working on a better backend that can actually scale, and then I can plug the search into it. Also, since I am looking for the most cost-effective solution at this time, if I did it today it would drive the costs up (bad back end, high maintenance implementation) . If something was not clear you could have just asked me instead of attacking me in a passive aggressive way. I do not do tones, I relay information and try to be transparent. If that is not appreciated, I’ll STFU and do what I do best. Thanks!
He problem was change in default CSP in safari that prevented AlpineJS from being able to parse the directives. I did fuckup the CSP for earlier versions of iOS but old version was fine as is
Good job! Small annoying bug: when scrolling timeline, the media load/unload makes it jump. Can you try and maintain “box” size of the media when you unload it when it scrolls off the screen. Otherwise a solid release for sure. Also Universal =/= Universe 😂🫂🎉🔥
It will drive the costs significantly higher, and it will likely reflect in the account pricing. Infrastructure costs along (excluding maintenance and R&D, and implementation) will be on the 250K sats per month for search alone. So, as I said (so there are reasonable expectations) if/when I make data plane right and find an optimal way to index (media is not text), injest and maintain it, we’ll have it.
Ok, this now is live, plus much more. There are still some incomplete things but major functionality is in place. If you experience any issues or notice anything out of place, please reply here.

Can you please elaborate what issue you are experiencing exactly? Is it color shifting, resolution decrease and blockiness, something completely different? We do convert HEIC to JPEG upon upload and it may change the colorspace and bit depth when it’s doing it. HEIC generally has higher bit depth that will make photo look more realistic but JPEG can retain most of that in sRGB space but not strong highlights or deep shadows. If you have sample pictures (can upload to your account and share with me) that would help. So far I haven’t ran into issues with my iOS 18.1beta6
