Anyone ever had a problem withdrawing Bitcoin from Fold? My ticket was escalated Friday, but I've heard nothing since & am wondering how worried I should be.
Sell it as a DYI kit with a piece of sandpaper. I'm only partially joking as I have seen DIY leather wallet kits in some store of Japanese goods. (The leather pieces were cut, but you had to sew them together.)
With Mutiny going away, what's the best way to migrate funds if you have both lighting & on-chain with 1 channel open?
I would guess maybe close the channel first & then do a single on-chain to send everything?
I can tell you that I tried to get my French friend signed up, but it wouldn't allow him because he was hitting a cell tower in Switzerland. There's a LOT of people that live in France & work in Switzerland that could be caught out by this faulty geofencing.
For me, weed have me the traditional euphoria, but also incredibly clarity of vision. I suddenly could see why I was unhappy with my life & what I needed to do to change it. Also, music appreciation like you mentioned. As if normally I hear music sort of compressed in mono & suddenly it was hi-fi & I could not only hear the separate instruments, but could hear the individual vibrations making up the notes. And, I also found it somewhat anti-addictive as I would do it once & then not want to for several months. I feel as if my life would be much better if I was able to partake of it once every few months.
I haven't tried psilocybin. I went so far as getting spores & growing some, but was too afraid to try (aside from micro-dosing where I never noticed anything.) I have a lot of anxiety about having a bad trip & going in feeling like that seems like a good way to guarantee a bad trip. I also don't have anyone IRL I can trust enough to sit with me & am afraid to try it alone.

it's just too easy to buy Bitcoin with Strike. I wanted to see if I could get a buy in under $60k, & was quoted $60,044 & before I realized it it my muscle memory kicked in & it said the but was successful. 😂
I really dislike wallets that say you need to stay on the screen while waiting to receive. I cashed out my Fold rewards to Mutiny & forgot that they batch the payment & it wouldn’t actually send for like 12 hours. Now I’m worried if it will actually make it or not.
This will be an unpopular post, but I don’t think entrepreneurs can provide the solution to all problems. If you have an idealistic problem you want to solve for (like privacy & freedom) then trying to build monetization into it just increases the attack surface for the state to come after it & shut it down.
@jack mallers you guys know Switzerland is in Europe, right? It’s kind of embarrassing when I tried to onboard my French friend who selected France as his country only to have the app tell him it’s not available in Switzerland yet (presumably because we’re on the border.)

I know this is probably trashy, but have you considered making those ratchet belts? Being a fat ass I’ve found their much finer granularity vs holes in traditional belts to be preferable. But, all of the ones I’ve found are shit quality from the leather side.
Thinking about inheritance planning lately. Casa or other’s plans only help in getting access to Bitcoin. My survivors still wouldn’t know what to do with it.
Hopefully, I’ll survive at least a few more years & we’ll get to the point where I’m selling/spending it some so that they can learn how.
