Were any of the fruits ripe? Last time I was there you could freely pick the fruit in the orchards. Still true?

Capitol reef is a nice one for sure, did you catch a view of the stars?
Too late in the season for us but they still allow visitors to pick the fruit. We caught some bad weather, so it was cloudy most nights. We had one good night of stargazing: https://image.nostr.build/7960d546b412b463e0263fee290accb2150cba8f6f033368433b4a1c79d83ca4.jpg https://image.nostr.build/00c1baafc1d77f9f022c28383696af0863e7eb151649f5e0e4fd3027b1c8eb8f.jpg
nice pictures & tractor! familiar with that work.
Nice! At least you got one good night!

The watergap has to be one of the darkest spots in the nation
Excuse me, *waterpocket fold* not watergap.
We’ve been on the road for four months and the darkest/best skies were In a tiny little town. Lincoln, Montana. It felt like we could reach out and touch the stars!
Montana is great for sure. Another good spot is northern Nevada, South Eastern Oregon.
We took our rig out there and spent a few nights. It was amazing. Cloudy, but still beautiful. There wasn’t anyone around for miles.
 Beautiful rocks
 They are!
