I still remember the brief but very real excitement back in the early 2000’s when Dell started selling a couple of computers with Ubuntu preinstalled. A major manufacturer recognizing Linux desktop. It was so over for Microsoft for at least 5 minutes  😂😂😂 

 Oh man. I remember that. Dell was so cool then. Back when their “Dude, you’re getting a Dell!” Ads were everywhere.
