I can't be the only one who feels like Damus is closing in on it's last breath
I'm surprised that so few have acknowledged this. When you create a client that's limited to such a narrow range of users then of course it has an expiration date. It essentially dug its own grave. 🤷♂️
Will literally said a year. That's pretty fuckin far from last breath
It's actually not, at all. 😑 Dude... it's only ONE year. That ain't long.
I believe that you took my statement out of context. Just because something has an expiration date doesn't imply that it was a failure in any sense. Also, you did just say that Will said a year. Correct? That means even Will himself knows that it will not last forever.
And perhaps an overly loyal one. @pipe speaks the truth, though 🤷♂️. It was never gonna last forever. Damus, nonetheless, was very productive on an experimental level.
That's exactly my point. You have to ask yourself: are you loyal to Apple or are you loyal to the Nostr protocol? The latter sounds much more promising. Apple products are overrated anyway.
